The system pairs 15 kW AC output power with a usable storage capacity of 30 kWh and is suitable for households with high self-consumption and backup power requirements.

The System in Detail

The Hybrid Inverter

The Growatt MODA 15KTL3-HU is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 15,000 W AC rated power. Three MPPT trackers with an input voltage range of 140 to 1000 V offer great flexibility when designing your photovoltaic system. The maximum efficiency is 98.60%, with a European efficiency of 97.50%. Via the backup power function, the inverter provides up to 63 A and switches over within 20 ms in the event of a grid outage. Comprehensive protection functions such as DC reverse polarity protection, AFCI protection, and anti-islanding protection ensure safe operation.

The Battery Storage

The all-in-one system uses Growatt APX 5.0P-B3 battery modules in a stackable design. In the configuration offered here, six battery modules provide an energy capacity of 30 kWh at a depth of discharge (DoD) of 100%. The battery side operates at a voltage of 600 to 980 V and achieves a maximum charging and discharging power of 15,000 W each. Thanks to the integrated Battery Optimizer, existing and new battery modules can be combined easily. The Growatt MODA battery storage is delivered as a compact tower including base.
