The system in detail

The hybrid inverter

The Growatt MODA 12KTL3-HU is the heart of this storage system. As a three-phase hybrid inverter, it delivers an AC rated power of 12,000 W and processes a recommended PV power of up to 24,000 W via three MPPT trackers. The DC/AC ratio of 2.0 enables high yields even in weaker light conditions. With a maximum efficiency of 98.6% and natural cooling, the device operates efficiently and with low maintenance. Via the backup power connection, it reliably provides power during grid outages.

The battery storage

Six high-voltage battery modules of the type Growatt APX 5.0P-B3 form the storage of this system and together provide an energy capacity of 30 kWh. The battery storage is built as a compact, stackable system on a base. The Battery Optimizer allows old and new batteries to be combined, so your system can later be adapted to growing energy needs. This way, you can flexibly use solar power generated during the day exactly when your family really needs it.
