The System in Detail

The Hybrid Inverter

The Growatt MODA 4kTL3-HU is a three-phase hybrid inverter with a rated AC output of 4000 W. It features 3 MPP trackers with a DC/AC ratio of 2.0, allowing a maximum recommended PV power of 8000 W to be connected. With a maximum efficiency of 98.60% and a switchover time of 20 ms in the event of a grid outage, it forms the heart of the system. Thanks to the battery optimizer function, old and new batteries can be flexibly combined.

The Battery Storage

Five Growatt APX 5.0P-B3 high-voltage battery modules together form the energy reserve with a total capacity of 25 kWh. The high-voltage design works directly with the inverter and stores solar power generated during the day to make it available again in the evening and at night. This increases your self-consumption and gives you greater independence from the public grid.
