The system in detail

The hybrid inverter

The Growatt MOD 9000TL3-HU is a three-phase hybrid inverter with an AC rated power of 9000 W. Two MPP trackers enable stable operation even with differently oriented module arrays. Additional safety is provided by AFCI arc-fault detection as well as type II surge protection on both the DC and AC sides. The integrated backup function allows the system to continue supplying critical loads during a grid outage. Communication is via RS485, CAN, and USB.

The high-voltage battery storage

The Growatt APX 10.0M-S3 high-voltage battery storage consists of the master module APX 5.0M-B3 and the battery module APX 5.0P-B3, providing an energy capacity of 10 kWh. The cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate technology (LFP) used ensures high operational safety. The stacked design without cabling simplifies installation, while the extended operating temperature range of -20 °C to 55 °C allows for flexible placement. This way, you gain a noticeable degree of independence and lower your electricity costs in the long run.
