The System in Detail

The Hybrid Inverter

At the heart of the kit is the Growatt MOD 10KTL3-HU, a three-phase hybrid inverter with an AC rated power of 10,000 W. Three independent MPP trackers provide high flexibility when designing your PV strings and allow operation with multiple roof orientations. With a maximum efficiency of 98.60%, the inverter operates with exceptional efficiency. Comprehensive protective functions such as AFCI arc-fault detection and Type II surge protection on both the DC and AC sides increase the operational safety of your system. The integrated backup function keeps your home supplied with power during a grid outage.

The High-Voltage Battery Storage

For storing solar power, three Growatt APX 5.0P-B3 high-voltage battery modules (5 kWh each) are used in combination with a Growatt APX 5.0M-B3 power module. Together, they form a high-voltage (HV) system with a total capacity of 20 kWh. The battery storage uses cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells and features a tool-free stackable design, which significantly simplifies installation. The wide operating temperature range of –20 °C to 55 °C and the IP66 protection rating allow for flexible installation locations. The modular concept allows the system to be expanded at any time with additional battery modules, and even lets you combine new modules with older ones.
