Description

The GoodWe GW6000-ET-20 from the ET G2 series is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 6 kW rated power for high-voltage battery systems. It combines PV system, battery storage, home grid, and backup power supply in a single device – forming the basis for high self-consumption and permanently lower electricity costs.

Key benefits at a glance

Two MPP trackers: With 2 MPPT and one string each, roof areas with different orientations can be optimized separately. The maximum PV input power is 9,600 W.
Powerful backup function: In the event of a grid outage, the device delivers 6,000 VA continuously and up to 12,000 VA (60 seconds) for short periods – sufficient reserve for high-inrush loads.
High efficiency: Up to 98.0% maximum and 97.2% European efficiency ensure low conversion losses.
Integrated smart meter: CT and smart dongle are included – monitoring is done via Wi-Fi, LAN, or Bluetooth through the app.

Flexible in battery operation, robust in everyday use

The GW6000-ET-20 works with high-voltage lithium-ion batteries across a wide voltage range of 150 to 720 V. Charge and discharge current are each 30 A, the maximum charging power is 9,000 W, and the maximum discharging power is 6,600 W. This allows the battery to charge quickly with surplus power during the day and release the energy where it's needed in the evening.

Safety is ensured by a comprehensive protection concept: insulation resistance monitoring, residual current monitoring, reverse polarity protection for PV and battery, anti-islanding detection, as well as overcurrent, short-circuit, and overvoltage protection on the AC side are all integrated. DC disconnect switches and Type II surge protection devices (AC and DC) are also standard; AFCI 3.0 arc-fault protection is available as an option.

With IP66 protection rating, passive convection cooling, and an operating temperature range of −35 °C to +60 °C, the device is also suitable for outdoor installation. At just 23 kg and with compact dimensions of 496 × 460 × 221 mm, wall mounting remains manageable. Noise emission is below 30 dB, and nighttime self-consumption is under 15 W.
