Description

The GoodWe GW15K-ET is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 15 kW rated power for larger residential and commercial properties. It combines your PV system, a high-voltage battery storage system, and the public grid in a single device – and keeps your power supply running even when the grid goes down.

Increase Self-Consumption, Cut Peak Loads

The GW15K-ET was designed for systems where the focus isn't just on grid feed-in, but on the targeted control of generation, storage, and consumption. Two independent MPP trackers with two strings each reliably capture roof areas with different orientations; MPPT efficiency reaches 99.9%, with a maximum conversion efficiency of 98.0%.

Using the included smart meter, the inverter tracks your building's load profile and controls battery charging and discharging accordingly. Features such as peak shaving reduce costly demand peaks under commercial tariffs, while load management shifts consumption to periods of high generation. Communication with the battery management system takes place via RS485 or CAN, and connection to the monitoring portal via Wi-Fi or 4G. System status can be viewed at any time via the app.

Comprehensive protection features are already built in: insulation resistance and residual current monitoring, DC and battery reverse-polarity protection, anti-islanding, DC switch, and surge protection Type II (DC) and Type III (AC). AFCI arc-fault protection is available as an option. At 48 kg and dimensions of 520 × 660 × 220 mm, the device remains compact despite its power output and can be installed as a wall mount.
