Description

The GoodWe GW15K-ET-20 from the ET-G2 series is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 15 kW rated output that combines photovoltaic generation, high-voltage battery storage, and backup power supply in a single device. With three MPP trackers, a maximum PV input power of 24,000 W, and an integrated smart meter, it is well suited to larger residential systems and demanding commercial properties.

Smart Control and Safe Installation

The GW15K-ET-20 is supplied with a smart meter including current transformer, enabling real-time monitoring of the energy flow in the home. Based on this data, the inverter automatically manages self-consumption, battery charging, and grid draw – optionally supplemented by GoodWe wallboxes or grid-friendly household appliances. Monitoring is available via LED display directly on the device as well as through Wi-Fi, LAN, or Bluetooth in the app and portal.

On the safety side, the inverter is comprehensively equipped: insulation resistance monitoring, residual current monitoring, reverse polarity protection on both the PV and battery sides, anti-islanding detection, as well as overcurrent, short-circuit, and overvoltage protection on the AC side are all built in. A DC disconnect switch and Type II surge protection on both the DC and AC sides are installed at the factory; AFCI arc-fault protection is available as an option. With IP66 protection, an operating temperature range of −35 to +60 °C, and passive cooling without a fan, the 25 kg unit is also approved for outdoor wall mounting. Nighttime self-consumption is below 15 W.
