Description

The GoodWe GW12K-ET-20 is a three-phase hybrid inverter from the ET-G2 series with 12 kW rated power. It connects your photovoltaic system, a high-voltage battery storage unit, and your home network into a single system – keeping your home supplied with power even during a grid outage.

Main Benefits for Your System

Powerful backup power supply: 12,000 VA continuous power off-grid, briefly up to 18,000 VA for 60 seconds – sufficient reserves for high-inrush loads.
Three MPP trackers: Up to 19,200 W PV input power and a wide MPPT range from 120 to 850 V allow the use of differently oriented roof surfaces.
High efficiency: 98.2% maximum and 97.5% European efficiency keep conversion losses low.
Integrated smart meter: Current transformer (CT) and smart dongle are already included – self-consumption metering is ready to use at no extra cost.

Flexible Storage Selection

With a battery voltage range of 150 to 720 V, the GW12K-ET-20 is suitable for common high-voltage storage systems, such as those from the GoodWe Lynx Home series. The battery is charged with up to 18,000 W and discharged with up to 13,200 W; the maximum charge and discharge current is 40 A each. This allows the battery to charge quickly on sunny days and deliver the stored energy again with high power in the evening. Communication with the battery management system takes place via RS485 and CAN.

WLAN, LAN, and Bluetooth are available for monitoring – you can view yields, consumption, and storage status at any time in the app. Extensive protective functions such as insulation resistance monitoring, residual current monitoring, reverse polarity protection on both the PV and battery sides, and an integrated DC disconnect switch are active from the factory. Arc fault protection (AFCI 3.0) is available as an option. With protection class IP66 and an operating temperature range of −35 to +60 °C, the unit is also approved for outdoor wall mounting. The fanless passive cooling keeps noise levels below 45 dB.
