The System in Detail

The Hybrid Inverter

The GoodWe ESA GW10K-ETA-G20 is a three-phase hybrid inverter with a rated AC output of 10 kW. It features three MPP trackers and a maximum PV input power of 20 kW, allowing for generous oversizing of the solar array. With a maximum efficiency of 98.1%, it converts the generated solar power efficiently. An integrated backup port enables backup power supply, with switching to island mode occurring in under 4 ms.

The Battery Storage

The storage consists of two GoodWe ESA GW5.1-BAT-D-G20 battery modules, each with a rated energy of 5.12 kWh, for a combined total of 10.24 kWh. The battery technology used is lithium iron phosphate (LFP), known for its high thermal stability and long service life. Each module is rated for at least 8,000 charge cycles and equipped with integrated heating and aerosol fire suppression. The modular design can later be expanded to up to 12 modules.
