Description

The Deye SUN-16K-SG05LP3-EU-SM2 is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 16 kW rated power. It combines photovoltaics, 48 V low-voltage battery storage (40–60 V), and grid connection in a single unit, and thanks to AC coupling it is suitable for both new installations and retrofitting existing solar systems.

16 kW three-phase power: Power reserves even for larger households and small commercial units. In off-grid operation, double the rated power is available briefly (10 s).
Generator support: In addition to solar power, energy from a diesel generator can be stored – ideal for locations with an unstable grid.

Efficiency and Supply Security

With two MPP trackers and an MPPT range of 160 to 650 volts, the SUN-16K makes optimal use of available solar energy even under changing irradiation conditions. Six freely adjustable time windows allow targeted control of charging and discharging processes, so you can take advantage of favorable grid tariffs and cushion load peaks. In the event of a grid outage, your power supply is maintained. A comprehensive protection concept with reverse polarity, overvoltage, short-circuit, and anti-islanding protection as well as residual current monitoring (RCD) ensures safe continuous operation, while intelligent cooling keeps operation quiet at under 60 dB(A). Connection is via RS485, RS232, or CAN; optional WiFi, LAN, or 4G modules make generation and consumption visible at all times.
