The Solis/Pylontech complete set combines the single-phase low-voltage hybrid inverter Solis S5-EH1P3K-L-EU with the LiFePO4 battery storage Pylontech US3000D to form a perfectly matched solution for self-consumption and backup power supply. With 3 kW inverter output, up to 4.8 kW recommended PV power, and 3.3 kWh usable storage capacity, the set is suitable for smaller households as well as an entry point into a system that can be expanded later. The matching Pytes cable set with 25 mm² cross-section is already included.

Main Benefits for Your Home

Backup power in under 20 ms: In the event of a grid outage, the inverter switches to the backup output in less than 20 milliseconds and supplies essential loads with up to 3 kW continuous power – briefly even 4.5 kVA.
Durable LiFePO4 technology: The Pylontech US3000D is rated for more than 8,000 charge cycles and a nominal lifespan of over 15 years. A 95% depth of discharge ensures you can actually use the majority of the stored energy.
Flexibly expandable: Up to 16 battery modules can be connected together in one string. Two MPPT trackers with 15 A input current each allow the connection of two differently oriented PV strings.
Low-maintenance and safe: The inverter operates fanless with natural convection, is IP65-rated, and features integrated AFCI arc-fault protection as well as high-frequency isolation to the battery.

Inverter and Storage – Matched via CAN Bus

The Solis S5-EH1P3K-L-EU communicates directly with the battery management system of the Pylontech US3000D via CAN. Charging current, state of charge, and temperature are continuously synchronized, reliably protecting the storage from overcharging and deep discharge. The integrated EMS function and several selectable operating modes help you maximize self-consumption: solar power that is not consumed directly during the day is available in the evening and at night, instead of flowing into the grid at low feed-in tariffs. The three-phase smart meter included in the set records your household consumption as the basis for control. The 7-inch color LCD display keeps all operating data in view; remote monitoring and firmware updates are also possible via RS485 or an optional Wi-Fi stick.

Who Is This Set Suitable For?

The complete set is aimed at households with a PV system of up to around 4.8 kWp who want to store their solar power while also setting up simple backup power supply. The inverter weighs only 18.3 kg and, thanks to IP65 protection, can also be mounted outdoors. The battery storage is 19-inch rack compatible, weighs 30 kg, and with IP20 protection is intended for installation in dry indoor spaces. The set is also of interest to installers: both components have been well established on the market for years, connection via CAN is straightforward, and the system can be modularly expanded with additional US3000D modules as demand grows.
