Solis & Pylontech Hybrid Set combines the single-phase hybrid inverter Solis S5-EH1P4.6K-L with the low-voltage battery storage Pylontech US3000D into a perfectly matched storage system for your home. With 4.6 kW AC rated power, two MPPT trackers for up to 8 kW of PV power, and a LiFePO4 battery with 3.5 kWh, you can use your solar power even in the evening and at night – and keep essential loads running during a grid outage. As a low-voltage system with 48 V battery voltage, the set is easy to install and can later be expanded with additional modules. The matching cable set from Pytes is already included, so the battery and inverter can be connected right away.

Key benefits for your home

Backup power during grid outages: The inverter's backup output switches over in under 20 ms and delivers up to 5 kW rated power (7 kVA for 10 seconds) for your most important loads.
Long-lasting storage: The LiFePO4 cells of the US3000D are rated for more than 8,000 cycles and a rated service life of over 15 years – at 95% depth of discharge.
Flexibly expandable: Up to 16 battery modules per string can be connected in parallel. This lets your storage capacity grow with your needs without replacing the inverter.
High efficiency: The Solis S5 operates with a peak efficiency of over 97.1%, is fanless, and has an IP65 protection rating – quiet indoors and suitable for outdoor mounting.

How the inverter and battery work together

The Solis S5-EH1P4.6K-L takes in the DC current from your PV modules via two independent MPPT inputs, each with up to 15 A, and first covers the current consumption in the house. Any surplus flows into the Pylontech US3000D, and only then into the public grid. The inverter and battery management system communicate via CAN bus, so state of charge, currents, and temperatures are continuously synchronized. Several operating modes allow you to maximize self-consumption or specifically buffer load peaks. Via the 7-inch color display, RS485, or the optional Wi-Fi module, you can keep track of yields, state of charge, and grid draw at any time and make settings and firmware updates remotely.

Relevant for installers and technically experienced users: On the battery side, the inverter provides up to 5 kW or 100 A, while the US3000D delivers 37 A in continuous operation (about 1.8 kW at 48 V) and significantly more for short periods. Anyone requiring higher continuous power from the storage can add further US3000D modules in the 19-inch rack. The integrated AFCI arc-fault protection and high-frequency isolation to the battery provide additional safety during operation.
