Description

K2 SingleHook Alpin is a PV roof hook made of aluminium EN AW-6063 T66 and stainless steel A2-70 for the K2 SingleRail system. This roof hook is used for photovoltaics on pitched tiled roofs. K2 offers it for higher load requirements. It is mounted exclusively in combination with a sheet metal roof tile.

The key benefits at a glance

Solar roof hook for higher loads: K2 offers the SingleHook Alpin for higher load requirements. It is always mounted with a sheet metal roof tile or metal roof plate in place of the roof tile.
Robust materials: The hook is made of aluminium EN AW-6063 T66, the connecting parts of stainless steel A2-70. One roof hook weighs 0.743 kg.
Mounting accessories included: T-bolt and locking nut for fastening to the SingleRail are included. The rail connection is tightened to 16 Nm.
Height adjustment of the rail: The bracket with slotted hole allows mounting and height adjustment of the SingleRail on the roof.

Mounting photovoltaic roof hooks on a tiled roof

The SingleHook Alpin connects your PV substructure to the pitched tiled roof. The K2 SingleRail system is designed for roof pitches from 5 to 75°. Keep a distance of at least 5 mm between the hook bracket and the tile surface. To avoid damage under high snow loads, replace the tile beneath the arm with a metal roof plate or a sheet metal replacement tile.

Height compensation and safe planning

The roof hook compensation plate 4 mm (2002332) is suitable for height differences, whereas the Distance Pad 2 mm (1002361) is not. Before mounting, check the load-bearing capacity of the roof on site. Mounting is carried out by suitably qualified persons.
