Description

The M8x20 socket head screw with serration from K2 Systems GmbH is a precise fastening element specifically designed for applications in K2 mounting systems and photovoltaic substructures. It combines reliable mechanical properties with high corrosion resistance – ideal conditions for durable and secure PV installations.

This screw is manufactured according to ISO 4762, features a serrated underhead for better force transmission and slip properties, and is optimally combinable with K2 system components such as roof hooks, rails, clamps, and lightning protection components. Its range of applications extends over both pitched roofs and flat roof solutions.

Thanks to its material choice of stainless steel A2, the screw offers good weather resistance under typical environmental conditions – an important factor in the field of solar mounting and photovoltaic mounting systems.

This screw is primarily used as an accessory component in K2 mounting systems – for example, in combination with K2 roof hooks, K2 rails, K2 Minirail, or in conjunction with K2 lightning protection clamps. Due to its serrated underhead, it can provide particularly good force transmission and frictional connection, ensuring the component is reliably secured against twisting or slipping.

Whether as a fastening element for K2 photovoltaic modules on rail systems or in special solutions of the solar substructure – this screw is an essential component in your K2 PV mounting program.

Note: The operating environment (e.g., salty air, industrial atmosphere) should be checked for corrosion stress – if necessary, a higher-grade stainless steel quality (e.g., A4) or special coating may be required.
