The system in detail

The solar modules

The heart of power generation is formed by 24 JA Solar 455W JAM54D41LB modules in Full Black design. These are bifacial N-type glass-glass modules that also convert light hitting the rear side into electricity, enabling additional yield. In total, this results in a photovoltaic output of 10.92 kWp (24 × 455 Wp). The glass-glass construction offers high robustness and low performance degradation over the years. Note: The model designation JAM54D41LB stated in the set name differs from the attached data sheet (JAM78D10 430-450/MB/1500V).

The hybrid inverter

The Growatt SPH 10000TL3 BH-UP is a three-phase hybrid inverter rated at 10 kW and manages the interaction between the solar modules, battery storage, and the home network. No data sheet is available for this component, so no further technical values are provided.

The battery storage

The Growatt battery storage consists of an ARK 2.5-A2 Battery Base as well as four ARK 2.5H-A2 expansion modules with 2.56 kWh each. This results in a total capacity of 10.24 kWh (4 × 2.56 kWh). The cobalt-free LiFePO4 cells (LFP) achieve a depth of discharge of 90% and over 6,000 cycles. The high-voltage system is controlled via the HVC 60050-C2 battery management system and can be flexibly expanded thanks to its modular, stackable design. This way, you gain a significant degree of independence from the public grid and noticeably reduce your electricity costs.
