The system in detail

The solar module

The JA Solar JAM54D41 LB is a bifacial full-black module in N-type glass-glass construction. Thanks to the half-cut cells and MBB technology, the module achieves high efficiency while minimizing shading losses. The dual-sided light absorption provides an additional yield boost, especially on reflective surfaces.

The microinverter

The Hoymiles HMS-500-1T is a 1-in-1 microinverter with a rated output power of 500 VA. It converts the generated direct current into grid-compliant single-phase alternating current and meets the requirements of VDE-AR-N 4105:2018. The galvanically isolated HF transformer and IP67 protection rating ensure safe outdoor use. Monitoring is conveniently handled via the S-Miles Cloud.

Cable and mounting

The included MC4 solar cable (4 mm², 2 meters) connects the module and inverter using proven Stäubli original MC4 connectors. The Van der Valk aluminum clamp and the Solarscouts balcony bracket ensure secure mounting of your balcony power plant.
