The system combines a powerful 8 kW three-phase hybrid inverter with 10 kWh of usable battery capacity in a space-saving tower.

The system in detail

The hybrid inverter

The Growatt MODA 8kTL3-HU is the heart of the system. It delivers a rated AC output of 8000 W on a three-phase grid connection and can handle PV power of up to 16000 W. With three MPPT trackers, an MPPT voltage range of 140 to 1000 V, and a maximum efficiency of 98.60%, it is designed for high yields. The integrated battery optimizer allows the combination of old and new batteries, making later expansions straightforward.

The battery storage

Two Growatt APX 5.0P-B3 high-voltage battery modules form the energy reserve with a total capacity of 10 kWh. The modules operate with a depth of discharge of up to 100% and are designed as high-voltage (HV) storage matched to the system. This makes the solar power generated during the day available in the evening and night hours.
