The three-phase 8 kW hybrid inverter from Deye and the two 8.75 kWh battery storage units from Felicity form a perfectly harmonized unit that stores excess solar power during the day and releases it again in the evening and at night. This way, you noticeably reduce your electricity costs and become significantly more independent from the public grid.

The System Components in Detail

The Inverter

The Deye SUN-8K-SG05LP3-EU-SM2 is the heart of your system. As a three-phase, low-voltage hybrid inverter, it converts the solar power from your PV modules into usable household electricity while intelligently controlling the charging and discharging of the battery. With a rated output of 8 kW and a short-term peak output of 16 kW, it easily handles strong load peaks, such as when starting heat pumps or wallboxes. Two MPP trackers allow you to flexibly orient your solar modules in two separate strings. Thanks to the integrated Wi-Fi interface, you can keep an eye on all values via app at any time, and thanks to IP65 protection, outdoor installation is also possible without any issues.

The Battery Storage

Two Felicity FLA48171-EU units with 8.75 kWh each combine to provide a total of 17.5 kWh of storage capacity – enough reserve to reliably cover the evening and nighttime power demand of an average single-family home. The battery storage units rely on durable and safe LiFePO4 cells and are designed for space-saving wall mounting. An integrated, intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) monitors every single cell and reliably protects against overcharging, deep discharge, and overheating. The highlight: a built-in aerosol fire extinguishing system provides active fire protection directly inside the housing. The Wi-Fi module is already on board, so you can keep track of the state of charge and status via app at no additional cost.
