The System Components in Detail

The Inverter – Deye SUN-8K-SG01HP3-EU-AM2

This three-phase hybrid inverter with 8 kW rated power is the heart of your system. It intelligently connects PV modules, battery storage, and your home network, delivering top efficiency with a maximum efficiency of 97.6%. Thanks to two MPP trackers, modules with different orientations can also be used optimally. The backup power function reliably keeps your home supplied even during grid outages – at full rated power. Up to 10 units can be connected in parallel, so you can easily expand your system later. IP65 protection also allows outdoor installation.

The Battery Storage – Dyness Tower T7

The Tower T7 with 7.1 kWh rated capacity stores the solar power you generate during the day for use in the evening or on cloudy days. The safe LiFePO4 technology guarantees over 6,000 charge cycles – equivalent to more than 16 years of daily charging and discharging. With a usable capacity of 6.745 kWh and a depth of discharge of 95%, you get the maximum out of every kilowatt-hour. The stackable design with cable-free connections makes installation effortless. IP54 protection allows both indoor and outdoor installation. The integrated Wi-Fi lets you keep track of everything via app at all times.

The BMS – Dyness HV9637 BDU-1.5G Base

The intelligent Battery Distribution Unit is the control center of the storage system. It continuously monitors the voltage, current, and temperature of each individual module and reliably protects the system against overcharging, deep discharge, overcurrent, overtemperature, and short circuit. Via the CAN interface, the BMS communicates directly with the Deye inverter, so both components work together as a perfectly coordinated team.
