The system in detail

The solar modules

The 12 JA Solar 455W JAM54D41LB modules are bifacial Full Black glass-glass modules featuring N-type cell technology. They convert not only light hitting the front side but also reflected light on the rear side into electricity, delivering an additional energy yield. The robust double-glass design ensures high mechanical durability and a long service life. In total, this results in a rated PV output of 5.46 kWp.

The inverter

The Deye SUN-5K-SG05LP3-EU-SM2 is a three-phase low-voltage hybrid inverter with a rated output of 5,000 W. It processes solar power via two MPP trackers, charges and discharges the connected 48 V battery, and enables an unbalanced output of up to 50% rated power per phase. The off-grid peak power is twice the rated output for 10 seconds, allowing it to supply loads with high inrush currents as well.

The battery storage

The Deye SE-F5 Pro is a low-voltage (LV) battery storage unit based on LiFePO4 technology with 5.12 kWh of rated energy and a recommended depth of discharge of 90% DoD. The integrated BMS with active protection reliably safeguards the cells, while a cycle life of over 6,000 cycles enables many years of operation. This way, your self-generated solar power is available exactly when your family needs it.
