The installation of the BlackCover is ideally done at the end of the base rail installation. Slide the profile end over the exposed end of the SingleRail rail until it fits snugly. Ensure that no sharp edges or material tensions occur to avoid damage.
Please strictly observe the general safety and installation guidelines of K2 Systems:
Installation must only be carried out by qualified personnel (e.g., certified solar installers/roofers).
Ensure that the static conditions at the site are met.
For roofs over 3 m in height, appropriate fall protection and scaffolding must be used.
For lightning and potential equalization—if necessary, connection with K2 lightning protection clamps—national standards must be observed. (The BlackCover itself is not a conductive element.)
