Installation & Usage Instructions

Installation typically involves using the K2 BasicClip directly on the trapezoidal sheet metal and self-tapping screws for sealing. A fixed point (e.g., via BasicLock) ensures controlled length expansion. All other points are executed as sliding to prevent tension on the roof surface. When used on sandwich panels, a general building authority approval (abZ) may be available depending on the panel manufacturer. Minimum dimensions (e.g., sheet thickness ≥ 0.4 mm for steel or ≥ 0.5 mm for aluminum) and a sufficient area around drill holes (Ø ≥ 20 mm) must be observed.
