Introduction

The Fox ESS ECS2900 is a state-of-the-art, modular high-voltage battery storage system with LiFePO₄ technology, designed for residential and commercial applications. The models range from H2 to H7 and cover capacities from 5.76 kWh to 20.16 kWh. The scalable design allows storage systems to be precisely tailored to energy needs.

With an efficiency of over 95% and a depth of discharge (DoD) of 90%, the system offers efficient energy utilization. The modular design allows for up to 7 modules in series, enabling flexible scaling. The system remains reliably operational even when mounted outdoors, thanks to its IP65 protection rating.

The use of prismatic LiFePO₄ cells ensures high safety, longevity, and stable performance over thousands of charge cycles. Fox ESS specifies a lifespan of ≥ 6,000 cycles, combined with a 10-year warranty or guaranteed energy throughput.

Communication is via CAN and RS485, allowing integration with common PV inverters and energy management systems. The system remains operational even with fluctuating ambient temperatures (charging from 0 to 55 °C, discharging from –10 to 55 °C).

Thanks to NATURAL ventilation (convection), the system operates without active cooling, saving on maintenance and reducing failure risks. The compact dimensions of the modules facilitate installation and assembly.
