The System in Detail

The Solar Modules

The set includes 5 modules of type JA Solar JAM60D41-500/LB in an elegant Full Black design. The n-type glass-glass modules with bifacial cell technology also capture light falling on the rear side, delivering more solar power per unit area. At 500 Wp each, the photovoltaic system reaches a total output of 2.5 kWp. The glass-glass design is particularly weather-resistant, and JA Solar provides a 30-year linear power warranty.

The Inverter

The inverter is integrated into the Hoymiles HiBattery 4020 X and converts the generated direct current into grid-compliant alternating current. It offers 4 MPPT inputs for up to 8 modules and operates with a maximum DC/AC efficiency of 96.5%. The grid-tied output power is up to 2500 W, so your solar power is used efficiently in your household.

The Battery Storage

The heart of the set is the Hoymiles HiBattery 4020 X with integrated battery. The low-voltage storage offers 4.02 kWh of usable energy and can be modularly expanded up to 16 kWh. The LiFePO4 cells are rated for over 8000 charge and discharge cycles. Intelligent cell balancing, self-heating for low temperatures, and IP66 protection ensure safe operation.
