K2 Systems S-Dome Flat Roof Mounting Set for 3 Modules 15°

The K2 Systems S-Dome Flat Roof Mounting Kit for 3 Modules at 15° is a well-thought-out solution for mounting solar modules on flat roofs with membrane or bitumen coverings. Specifically designed for module frames ranging from 30 to 50 mm in height, this system combines stability, quick installation, and optimized ballasting. Approved as part of the Dome 6 System with wind tunnel validation, the system is suitable for numerous applications.

Even in the planning phase, the system's strength is evident: The 15° module tilt improves yield through better irradiation angles while maintaining manageable wind load requirements. The system can be used on flat roofs with up to ~3° roof pitch without penetration, and for higher roof pitches, an optional fixation (e.g., Dome FixPro) can be added (similar to the Dome 6 System).

The construction is largely pre-assembled, significantly reducing installation times. At the same time, it is optimized for ballast thanks to improved friction values through a shear-soft support pad ("Mat S") and a well-thought-out geometry.
Specifically for wind requirements, a windbreaker is provided to protect the back of the modules and direct airflow precisely.

Mechanical connection parts like DomeClamp and SpeedPorter ensure simple, secure attachment of the modules—even under challenging weather conditions. The modular design allows for flexible arrangement of rows (here 3 modules in a row) and adaptation to the roof layout with minimal effort.

The system is part of the widely used K2 Dome series and benefits from general building authority approvals (abZ) and proven system components. The user receives a robust, field-tested solution with good planning and installation support—ideal for both private and commercial PV projects.
