The K2 Systems D-Dome East/West 10° Flat Roof Mounting Kit is a well-thought-out solution for mounting photovoltaic modules on flat roof surfaces in an east/west orientation. It combines aerodynamic design with a ballast-optimized construction to ensure stable and secure installations even with limited ballast volume.

The 10° mounting angle improves the angle of incidence and can, in many cases, increase energy yield compared to flatter systems. At the same time, the system remains compact and space-saving.

Thanks to high pre-fabrication and modular design, the assembly steps can be implemented significantly faster than with traditional flat roof solutions. The combination of Base Sets, Peaks, and SpeedPorters ensures mechanical stability and easy installation. The clamp types are designed to fit common module thicknesses (30–50 mm).

The system is designed to aerodynamically distribute wind loads and reduce ballast requirements. This makes the mounting kit attractive for roofs with lower load reserves. At the same time, it is suitable for numerous flat roof types – e.g., bitumen, membrane, gravel, or green roofs.

The electrical integration is prepared with suitable modular components and potential equalization options. Cable management is also considered to ensure clean and compliant cable routing.
